Elena McKnight is an extremely active member who supports us in many ways.
Most notably she is the training director and coordinates all the class schedules including instructor assignments, student enrollment and marketing the class. She also devotes alot of her time to helping at the Obedience trials and Elena is a German Shepherd Breeder and is also involved in Obedience Training, Rescue, Tracking, Therapy work, Conformation, and Shutzhund (protection work). She's certified for Pet Therapy with Therapy Dogs International (TDI) and is a Pet Partner with the Delta Society. Elena also works for the Central Brevard Humane Society, and does Therapy work at area hospitals, nursing homes, and children's care facilities in their name. She's involved in the Society's educational programs regarding animals and, as such, goes into area schools with her dogs to teach children about animals and how to prevent cruelty. |
